Traditionally, the only flannel fabrics available have been plaids for men's shirts and a few solid color pastels.  Quilting with flannel has just started to become popular, however, and some new fabrics are appearing.  We've found some bright solids and lively prints to go along with the pastels and are introducing a new line of quilts made with pre-washed, 100% cotton flannel.  They're soft and cozy, stuffed with the same thick batting we use in our regular cotton quilts and the backing is flannel too!
